  • Our Mission

Our mission is to support children with academic and developmental difficulties. TRS Learning Center provides professional and immediate services in a fun and caring environment. It is our goal to give our children the necessary tools in order to reach their fullest potential. TRS Learning Center strives to provide therapeutic and educational services based on the most effective and current best practice researchbased methods using the latest methodologies and materials available.

  • Our Philosophy

Our philosophy is to provide services based on an interdisciplinary approach in treatment and tutoring tailored to the individual needs of each child. We focus on play and movement to make it a fun place to be, while providing our children with the one-on-one care they need to develop and thrive. Every child deserves to Think, Read, and Speak.

  • Our Approach

Our therapeutic and educational approaches encourage motivation and success. TRS Learning Center uses techniques that involve play to enhance the knowledge process. We consult with parents and address their current concerns and the long-term goals they have for their child. Our multi- disciplinary approach provides a comprehensive evaluation and produces information about the child's developmental skills and learning abilities. We consider questions posed by parents, caregivers and teachers; we then tailor the individual evaluation of each child in order to address these questions. The assessments may include measures of cognition, language, memory, academic skills, personal self-care skills, sensory integration and motor development, as well as social and emotional development. The assessment culminates in a parent conference and a report including detailed recommendations and a plan of action.
